Professional Services: Program for Videoconferencing Management

The Greenline Emeritus program for videoconferencing management is a comprehensive set of training and professional services for implementing practices and procedures, and for the training of your staff: Technical staff, administrative staff, and users of your existing or soon-to-be-implemented videoconferencing infrastructure.

The program begins with a half-day, high-level Videoconferencing Orientation Seminar designed for decision-makers (“C” level executives) and operations staff and covers all of the business, administrative, and technical components. The seminar is hosted on-site, with the option to have some participants join via your videoconference facilities, if available.

The program continues with a set of training and professional services modules which fall into three categories: System Management, Business Management, and End-User Training. The client may opt for all, or any combination of the modules as appropriate. The training portions of the modules are best when hosted on-site, but may also be delivered via videoconference.

Training and Professional Services Modules

Each module consists of an on-site, instructor-led class and optional components. Optional components consist of projects, or ongoing maintenance support, customized to meet your specific needs.

Videoconferencing Program Maintenance Options

Greenline Emeritus Consulting offers maintenance programs to support your ongoing System Management, Business Management, and End-User Training needs. Pricing is based on the desired maintenance programs and the quantity of videoconference systems owned by you, enterprise-wide. The End-User Training Program component is included at no additional cost if you opt for either the System Management Support or the Business Management Support programs, but may also be purchased by itself if the other programs are not needed.

[System Management] Support Program

  • Operational and configuration support of your scheduling system.
  • Procurement and scheduling of public rooms and third-party bridging services.
  • “Second Opinion.” Greenline Emeritus is tapped into the worldwide videoconferencing technical community. When planning upgrades, adding new infrastructure components, or considering adding a non-homogeneous system or infrastructure component, call Greenline Emeritus for an independent, unbiased perspective on potential issues.
  • Quarterly site coordinator meetings. Greenline Emeritus leads meetings, via videoconferencing, to foster collaboration and sharing of wisdom amongst site coordinators.
  • Quarterly technical training. Greenline Emeritus trains your technical staff in audiovisual technology concepts and troubleshooting.

[Business Management] Support Program

  • Videoconference usage tracking. Identify key reporting metrics, define ROI measurements, and “meeting success” measurements, and the corresponding reports (delivered monthly or quarterly). Custom analyses and reports are also available, and are priced separately.
  • Promotions. Greenline Emeritus can assist you driving internal and external usage of videoconferencing. Deliverables include end-user surveys, promotions programs, leave-behind materials, “tips and tricks” for internal promotions, and “Go Green” initiatives.

[End-User Training] Program: Effective Meetings & Presentations for Videoconferencing

  • Training is delivered via videoconferencing or webinar. Sessions can be recorded and edited for future playback (additional fees apply).
  • Two levels:
    • Presentation Basics. Topics covered include: Camera angle, microphone placement, avoiding things that distract from your message, the role of the presentation assistant, maintaining eye contact, and logistics of presenting to multiple remote sites.
    • Advanced Presentations. Topics covered include: Avoiding “death by bulletpoint,” use of PowerPoint and other media, “sticky” ideas, presenting is really storytelling, and avoiding the “curse of knowledge.”
