Professional's IT Concierge
Greenline Emeritus Consulting Presents
A Seminar
"Professional's
IT Concierge"
You are a business professional and are highly skilled at running your business. You are smart, but your grasp on technology is a little dated. The younger generation which you hire today have advanced technology in their backpacks, and they expect their next employer to embrace that technology. How can you attract the brightest and best? Start by assuring that you know how their world works.
Illuminate your understanding of the cutting edge with the Professional’s IT Concierge seminar. Similar to a hotel’s concierge, the IT Concierge—Theo Economides—answers your questions and leads you through the complex world of IT and Telecommunications technology. You don’t have to be able to speak Geek, either!
What people are saying about Theo Economides and his training:
“Theo is outstanding! After a 15 minute discussion Theo was able to shore up five tech issues I was having.” - Jerry Freund, President, Mid-American Printing Systems, Inc.
“Theo has a rare ability to explain complex technology in simple and understandable terms. He boils down the underlying technology and presents it in a way so that the audience has a sense of why it is important to them.” Wayne Pecena, Director of Engineering, Texas A&M University.
"Theo has a gift for translating technical jargon and concepts into business relatable terms. One of his unique talents is his ability to engage everyone in the discussion. It is obvious he believes that combining a diversity of opinion brings great success to any project.” Paula Graller, Telecom Manager, Large Chicago Law Firm
Why Attend?
The seminar is inexpensive, highly interactive and features a small class size. Seminar alumni gain free access to the online IT Concierge service for three months, and reduced rates for subsequent IT Concierge seminars.
What the seminar is
With a very small class size, the seminar is tailored to the areas of technology of interest to the attendees. Theo Economides' unique ability to translate Geek to English leads and guides them to a fuller, synergistic understanding of the topic-at-hand. Attendees will see the "bigger picture" of the technologies, and will see how they all relate to each other, their own lives, and their businesses. Theo creates an environment where "light bulb moments" are expected and frequent.
What the seminar is not
Although the students are the source of the topics of conversation and the technology questions which drive the content, this is not a troubleshooting session to fix specific technology problems ("My iPod stopped playing," "My computer is running slow."). But students will come away understanding why an iPod might stop playing, and the best way to go about dealing with it, as well as the reasons that computers run slowly, and what to understand when you have your preferred technician work on the problem.
Possible seminar subjects
- What your 12-year-old can teach you about technology
- How a computer network works
- Email, spam, viruses, and Trojan horses
- Social media and business
- Pad computing
- Virtual office & mobility
